What Is a Payment Reputation Score (and Why It Matters)
24 June 2026 · HisaabScore Team
A payment reputation score is a rating of how reliably a business pays its suppliers and counterparties, built from the real experiences of other businesses that traded with it. Unlike a personal credit score, it focuses on B2B payment behaviour — answering the one question every supplier asks: "will they actually pay me, and on time?"
How it works
On HisaabScore, verified businesses (one account per GST) tag the companies they've dealt with as Good payer, Bad payer, or Avoid. Those signals combine into a reputation score for each company — so before you supply on credit, you can see the crowd's verdict.
Why it matters
Most "who doesn't pay" knowledge is trapped in private trade circles. A shared, GST-verified reputation network makes it usable for everyone, reduces bad debt, and rewards businesses that pay well with a visible good reputation. Check a company or verify your business to start.
